December was a very busy and exciting month for us. We had several family parties, work parties, friend parties, Darin’s birthday and of course had to prepare for Santa to come. I guess you could say I am a Bah humbug, because I don’t like Christmas and would rather go on vacation =). This year was different than most. Maybe because Grey is getting older and really starting to enjoy things or because things went a little smoother than normal. For the first time in about 10 years, I had both of my parents under the same roof on Christmas morning. I’m might have to wait another 10 years for it to happen again, but it was wonderful. We hosted a Christmas Eve dinner at our place. Some of our neighbors, family and friends came over for a yummy dinner and some holiday cheer. Jaret and my dad spent the night and at and my mom and James were at the front door ready to go. We woke Grey up and he was so excited to see what Santa had brought him. After presents we were off to Grandma Scott’s to open gifts and have lunch with all of the cousins. Rick made some great tacos and we quickly dove into the gifts. Then back home to our house with just enough time to have a quick nap and then head to Uncle Mike and aunt Tunie’s house for dinner and another round of presents. Greydon got a ton of presents and it would be impossible to list them all. He really liked his leather recliner, Train table, new soft blankie and little tyke’s castle. He even got a leap frog electronic game to help him learn his letters.

Grey got some money in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Great Woodman. He was so excited! We put it in his piggy bank until he is old enough to spend it.
