Chrsitmas Day

Christmas this year was so much fun with Greydon. He had a blast opening all of his presents and got spoiled rotten. Grandma and Grandpa Woodman came over first thing in the morning to see what Santa brought and open presents before they headed to Arizona

 A new Barn

Santa brought our family this big package that Greydon used as a slide.

He played with his new barn animals on the box.

Inside of the box was a window for the Polaris

He got a voice recorded book from Grandma and Grandpa Woodman

 A Woody doll from Santa

 A football

After our house we went to Grandma Scott's house for Breakfast.

Playing the Piano with his cousins

 Ring around the Rosy

After Grandma Scott's we went to Papa Marlowe's house to see him and Uncle Jaret. Unfortunately Darin forgot our camera and all of the pictures are on my Dad's camera. As soon as he sends them to me I will add them. Darin and Greydon got nice LL Bean bags with their initials for traveling. Greydon got a dump truck that you ride from Uncle Jaret and I got a nice new watch, a sweater and a beautiful handmade picture frame that my dad made himself. Like I said, pictures are soon to come.

After Papa Marlowe's we went to my Aunt Tunies were Greydon played on this fun stuffed horse.

We stayed home all day on Sunday and played with our new Toys.  I love the below picture of Grey and Woody.

My little Helper

Lately Grey wants to help me do everything, especially pull laundry out of the dryer and tell me who each sock belongs to...Daddy, Baby or Mommy.

I guess I should be thankful because one day he won't want to help Mom with out an allowance. It is amazing how he grows every day.

King Family Christmas Party

The King family Christmas Party was on Sunday December 12th. It was a lot of fun! There were so many little kids and we got a surprise visit from Santa. Greydon did good sitting on his lap and Santa gave him a toy boat.

Christmas Village

Me, Darin, Greydon, my Mom, James and Jaret went to Christmas Village on Dec. 9th to look at the lights. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures.

Hogan Family Christmas Party

The Hogan family Christmas Party was on Darins B-Day (December 5th). I thought Darin might be a little bummed out, but he was excited to celebrate his birthday with my family. My mom made him a giant birthday cake and everyone sang to him.  To my surprise Greydon did not scream when he sat on Santa's lap. In fact he just wanted to lay on the floor and tickle Santa's toes.

 Eating his first candy cane

 I love my boys!

The Christmas Tree

Greydon is having a lot of fun this year playing with the balls and other ornaments on the tree. I made sure to put all plastic decorations on the bottom two feet. I am actually looking forward to Christmas this year, It will be a lot of fun with Greydon.

 Reaching for a "ball"

So proud and happy to show me what he has done

Playing with another item he pulled off the tree. The fireman hat is a normal part of his daily wardrobe these days.

Grandma's Turkey Cake

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our house this year. The food was so yummy and the company was great. My mom made this adorable Turkey cake for Greydon. She is so creative and thoughtful! The Turkey was made of pumpkin spice pound cake and was absolutely delicious.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

New Toy!

Santa came to my house a little early this year and brought us a fun new toy! I am so excited and feel very spoiled. Now when we go to the sand dunes Greydon and I won't be stuck at camp and we will have a fun new way to get to the lakes when we camp in the Unita mountains. Let me know if you want to come over and take it for a spin =)

All bundled up to go for a ride

Me and Greydon pushing the buttons and testing out the head lights

Are we spoiled or what?

Playing in the toy box

Greydon's new thing is to get into his toy box and play. He is not big enough to get in and out with ease, so most of the time he falls in head first, cries for a minute and then stays in there to play.

He is high centered in this one.
If you look on the right side of his face you will see a goose egg from him falling in head first. He is still all smiles because he is now inside.

Now he can relax and read his book.

The Hogle Zoo

We took our first family trip to the zoo and it was a lot of fun. Greydon learned to make Monkey noises and loved chasing around the birds that are all over the place.

Check out the Tiger directly behind us. Greydon continued to tell it "Kitty, Kitty Meow"

If you ask me they are both Apes..lol.

Catching up on the pictures of our summer fun

I thought I would start our blog off with some pictures of our summer time fun.

Greydon's first fishing trip was to Mantua.
I caught the biggest fish (of course)
 Darin caught this little guy...lol

Greydon's first trip to the sand dunes was in May

Trying to stay warm by the fire

We went to Lake Powell in June for my uncles wedding. It was beautiful and we had a blast!
Here is the entire wedding party

Greydon thought it was the funniest thing that his feet would disappear in the sand.
Since the wedding as on a private beach, we had to take a boat ride back to the marina. Greydon was partied out and fell asleep on the bumpy boat ride in his life jacket and all.

Greydon's first birthday was July 18th. My mom and I made this train cake for him.

Each train car had a different candy as cargo

Greydon got a new trike for his birthday
And a awesome waggon to take fishing and to haul all of his toys around.
The birthday boy was out by 7pm

We went for a hike up Waterfall canyon and borrowed this awesome backpack.
 Greydon loved it.

We made it to the top

And Greydon slept the entire way down. That must be one comfy back pack!

This rainbow was over our house one day. We must live in home Sweet home, now if I could only have found gold in my back yard.

In August we went camping to Hoop Lake with the Archuleta's

This is the cage I make Greydon play in to keep him from eating rocks
Marissa and I trying to keep the babies warm
We caught a lot of fish and cooked them up for lunch
Greydon also wore his helmet for the first time when we took him on his first 4 wheeler ride.

Greydon playing with his friend Lilli
Him and Dunkin checking the high chair for leftovers
 She stole his cup
They both love to knock or pound on the glass.
