Easter 2011

Our Easter weekend started with Grey having a fever of 104.7 and a horrible virus in this throat. After a trip to see Dr. Church on Friday and a lot of Ibuprofen and Tylenol, he was up to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday at Grandma Woodman's house.

I gave myself some blue lips by licking a blue Whopper and using it for lip stick.

Sunday morning uncle Jaret came over but we did not take pictures. We started off with Easter brunch and then had an Easter egg hunt in our back yard. My Dad is in Texas for a while so he was not able to come. However, him and Jaret bought Greydon his first RC remote control car. It is awesome and easy enough for a 2 year old to control. They also bought him a new movie.

Sunday afternoon we went to Grandma Diana's for another Egg hunt and a BBQ. I took my camera this time.

Darin's clever way of hiding the eggs, he put them in nests.

It was a great Easter and I was so glad that we were able to get Greydon feeling good enough to go to all of the fun Egg hunts that were planned for him. He was spoiled rotten and has enough candy for the next year.

Fun times

Here are a few fun pictures from the last few weeks

Greydon found his Dad's glasses. He looked adorable even though they were upside down.

He got this large canvas bag from my Dad for Christmas. He likes to get in it with his Woody doll and have Darin swing him.

He found his old bathtub under his bed and loves to sit in it and pretend.

We bought this swing set from one of our friends. It is a few years old, but we don't care. Greydon loves to play on it.

We recently celebrated Darin's success at work with Pizza and Champagne. It is a very odd combination but Greydon loves to have Papa Murphy's pizza on Friday nights.

George Strait and Reba

I have always wanted to see George in concert and the last time he came to SLC, I was in labor with Greydon. When I heard he was coming again I was Johnny on the spot getting my tickets. I waited until the second they went on sale and bought 4 of them. I ended up getting the tickets on the 14th row on the floor! We took our good friend Tyler and his date with us. We started out with sushi at Happy Sumo in the Gateway and then we headed over to the show.

The set up for the show had a center stage and there were people seated all the way around the Energy Solutions Arena. This meant for A LOT of people, but it was well organized and not too chaotic. We were able to walk up to the stage several times and be within 10 feet of both performers. It was so much fun and an experience I will never forget.
